Why does it say that my country is blocked?

If you try to buy our content and you see a message about your country being blocked, one of these things might be preventing your purchase.

Reason 1: International Taxes

Some countries require us to pay international taxes. International tax law is quite challenging, especially for a team as small as ours. Believe me, we'd love to sell our content to everyone, everywhere in the world, but right now we legally can't do that. As soon as we figure out the right approach to paying taxes for these countries, we will un-block them.

Countries we currently don't sell to, due to taxes: Bangladesh, Belarus, India, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, South Korea, Turkey, and UAE.

Reason 2: Trade Embargoes

We may be forbidden from doing trade with your country because of the laws in Canada, the United States, or other regions where we operate our business and servers.
